'Wrong place at the wrong time'

I was listing to a Real Radio news report in work yesterday.

The same news is repeated throughout the day and one story they used on every bulletin was that a man was killed because he was in 'the wrong place at the wrong time'.

I hate that saying. How can someone be in 'the wrong place at the wrong time'.

That is not possible. You are in a place because you are supposed to be. He would have had a reason for being there.

He was at the shops and prob buying shopping.

The poor man is dead and I hope they catch his killer.

He was unlucky, but not in 'the wrong place at the wrong time'.
